Amidst a backdrop of native trees, wildlife and beautiful waters, Sandy Creek Nature Center has been providing environmental education to children and adults for more than 40 years. In addition, the Nature Center provides abundant recreational opportunities for cyclists, runners, ramblers and nature lovers alike. We are here today for you AND because of you, our members.

Every day, from sunrise to sunset, our trails, ponds, walkways and waters are here for your enjoyment. There is no admission fee and the non-profit Sandy Creek Nature Center, Inc. depends on families like yours to become members to enhance our programs and fund ongoing improvements.

Improvements funded by Memberships include:

• Managed Forest Project--25 acres of habitat diversity and improvement.

• ADA Trail Loop Completion--additional 225 feet of boardwalk installed.

• Information kiosk located between the Education & Visitor Center and Greenway.

• The Nature Playscape--completed in 2021

• Improvements to the Trailhead--completed in 2023

• Current fundraising projects--The Brick Factory Interpretive Area, SPLOST Exhibit Hall Improvements
